POTTERY FOR POSITIVITY - 2 POT CREATIVE

2 Pot Creative welcomes you to explore the creative and positive art form of pottery. During a 2,5hr session you will be guided through the process of drawing from your thoughts around self affirmation to produce your very own piece of pottery made with positive intent. Hand building pottery techniques will be explored to create from your ball of clay a pottery piece that is created from turning negative pieces of clay into multiple positive symbols. This is a truly new concept created through my Art Therapy practice and my own self exploration through clay work.

During your time in the studio you will be provided with all the necessary tools and materials so you can focus on enjoying the experience without any pressure. Personalised guidance will be provided in this small group session to help you create either a functional or sculptural pottery piece, with a choice of an underglaze colour to apply to your positive applications. A truly bespoke piece infused with positive thoughts.

Once your clay creation is checked and allowed to dry it will go through it's first bisque firing, followed by clear glaze application if you choose and a final firing. This process can take between 4-6 weeks, you'll be notified for collection of your pottery.

Please be aware some pottery pieces may break despite my best efforts to prevent issues during the finishing processes. I will do my utmost to ensure a successful outcome, however I'm unable to offer refunds for pieces that crack naturally due to the drying, firing and glazing processes.
